Empowering Ogiek Women, Youth, and Children

The Ogiek Women Development Consortium (OWDC) is a grassroots, women-led organization founded in 1999 and officially registered in 2000.

Our Vision

A just, transformed, and equitable society where Ogiek women, youth, and children exercise their rights fully in tranquility and dignity.

Our Mission

To empower, build capacity, advocate for, and transform the lives of Ogiek women, youth, and children through lobbying, policy development, networking, and training—fostering an enabling environment for the realization of their rights by 2030.
